SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A Springfield woman reported missing by her family on Thursday has been found alive.
Judy Mejiabenway's family received several disturbing text messages about her disappearance. They said the text messages came from her Mejiabenway's phone, and one text claimed her body was under a bridge.
Springfield Police said Eugene Police arrested Mejiabenway Saturday afternoon for Possession of Methamphetamine. She was being held at the Lane County Jail.
Police said if these texts were used as a way to simply scare the family, whoever is responsible could be charged with Harassment or Disorderly Conduct and that could result in a Class A misdemeanor.
