RIDDLE, Ore. -- The body of a missing firefighter was found outside Riddle on Wednesday, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said.

Justin Bibow, 29, of Myrtle Creek was reported missing to the sheriff's office on March 12 and last had contact with family and friends on March 10.

Officials said a resident found Bibow's burned Dodge pickup about six miles up West Fork Cow Creek Road. Investigators found his body away from the vehicle.

The Douglas County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating, but foul play doesn’t appear to be a factor, officials said.

The Riddle Fire Protection District said Bibow served as a volunteer firefighter for 15 years. He was a fire captain and a member of the South County Rescue Team.
