More fires reported at Skinner Butte

A caller reported seeing a man setting a fire in the brush on Skinner Butte.

EUGENE, Ore. – Firefighters put out two fires at Skinner Butte on Monday, the latest in a string of fires in the area.

At about 11:40 a.m., a caller reported seeing a man setting a fire in the brush on the butte, and a second fire was reported just a minute later.

The fires were out about an hour later.
