EUGENE, Ore. -- Multiple fire crews were dispatched overnight Monday following a call reporting a motorhome fully engulfed in the Glenwood area.

The Eugene Springfield Fire Department responded to the call at 12:47 a.m. The motorhome was parked on Nugget Way, not far from Franklin Boulevard.

Three engines, two medics, two chief officers and a truck company were all on scene. Fire officials said a person identified as a bystander reported the fire because they thought someone was trapped inside the motorhome.

When fire crews arrived, the trailer was fully engulfed in flames. They were able to quickly get it under control and put it out. The fire did not spread to other motorhomes.

Fire crews determined that no one was in the motorhome at the time of the fire.

The bystander received minor injuries after going into the motorhome to see if there was someone inside. They were taken to Riverbend Hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
