MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. – Authorities arrested a Myrtle Creek man after detectives investigated a report of an unexplained injury to a child.
Authorities were notified about a 5-year-old boy who had suffered an unexplained fracture to his femur. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated and decided there was reason to arrest Bronson Daniel Knight, 32, of Myrtle Creek. The child was known to Knight.
The sheriff’s office was notified of the child’s injury on Wednesday, June 17. Knight was arrested Wednesday, June 24 on charges of second-degree assault and first-degree criminal mistreatment. Knight was cited and released from jail the same day.
