LANE COUNTY, Ore. --- Some of the items Michael Bryson was wearing when he was last seen in August were found close to where he disappeared, according to his father.

Michael's father Parrish Bryson told KEZI 9 News he got a call from a person on Monday who saw something on Brice Creek Road, a mile west of Hobo Camp between Cedar Creek Campground and Lund Park Campground.

Parrish Bryson said the Lane County Sheriff's Office and Search and Rescue teams were notified. He said when they arrived, they found some of the items Michael was last seen wearing. They were found in an area that had been combed through earlier in the search.

“My gut tells me that they were probably placed there,” Parrish said. “Because I know the intensity of some of the individuals that went down through there. It’s really hard for me to believe that they were there the whole time.”

Bryson said the teams continued to search throughout the week but did not find any more clues. However, the family suspects foul play and believes Michael did not wander away from the Hobo Camp Campground like originally thought.

Bryson told KEZI 9 News he is speaking with a detective Monday morning.
