EUGENE, Ore. - North Eugene High School celebrated its second annual "Decision Day" on Tuesday.
May 1 is traditionally the deadline colleges require admitted students to commit. It's since been declared National College Signing Day.
North Eugene High School celebrates seniors' post-graduation plans with a lunch-time party, regardless of whether they're going to college.
"Most people are just excited for a new start," said senior Isaac Randall. "Whether it be a trade school or college or military. They're just excited to do something different with their lives."
National College Signing Day started back in 2014 as part of former First Lady Michelle Obama's "Reach Higher" initiative.
