EUGENE, Ore. -- Drivers near Roseburg can expect delays on Interstate 5 this week.

The Oregon Department of Transportation is planning rock scaling work Tuesday and Wednesday.

ODOT plans to use rolling slowdowns in both directions of I-5, which could cause delays up to 20 minutes between 7 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. each night.

ODOT said pilot cars will lead traffic from the Winchester area through Roseburg. Flaggers will hold traffic at each southbound on-ramp from Exit 129 to Exit 121.

In the northbound direction, rolling slowdowns will begin north of Myrtle Creek with flaggers holding on-ramp traffic from Exit 110 to McLain Avenue.
