PORTLAND, Ore.-- Officials reported 185 new confirmed and presumptive coronavirus cases Sunday, with five new deaths.
The death toll in Oregon is now at 509.
The deaths included a 96-year-old Lane County woman who died in her residence on Saturday. She had underlying medical conditions.
An 81-year-old man and a 76-year-old man from Marion County, an 89-year-old Washington County man, and an 89-year-old Washington County woman also died. Three had confirmed underlying conditions.
A total of 29,337 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in the state since the pandemic began.
In our area, two new cases were reported in Benton County, one new case was reported in Douglas County, eight cases were reported in Lane County, and three were reported in Linn County.
