OHA: 33 new coronavirus cases; three new deaths

Three cases have been removed from the state total, OHA said.

SALEM, Ore. – Oregon Health Authority reported 33 new coronavirus cases and three new deaths on Wednesday.

The state death toll is now 58.

An 82-year-old Marion County man tested positive April 3 and died April 10 at Santiam Hospital.

In Multnomah County, an 84-year-old woman tested positive March 30 and died April 12 at Adventist Medical Center. A 92-year-old woman tested positive April 9 and died April 12 at her home.

OHA said they all had underlying health conditions.

The new cases bring the state total to 1,663. The new cases include one in Benton, seven in Clackamas, three in Columbia, one in Douglas, two in Lane, one in Linn, five in Marion, 10 in Multnomah, one in Umatilla, and two in Washington.

Three cases previously reported in Washington County have since been reclassified. Two of the cases were removed and one was transferred to Washington state, reducing the state total by three.
