OHA: Coronavirus claims 3 more lives, 76 new cases

The Oregon Health Authority reported three new coronavirus deaths in the state Saturday, bringing the death toll to 51.

PORTLAND, Ore.-- The Oregon Health Authority reported three new coronavirus deaths in the state Saturday, bringing the death toll to 51.

The deaths include a 94-year-old Yamhill County woman, a 93-year-old Multnomah County woman, and an 81-year-old Josephine County man, all of whom had underlying medical conditions.

76 new positive cases of coronavirus were identified as well, bringing the total to 1,447. 

New cases in our area include two new cases in Linn County for a total of 51 cases, and one new case in Benton County for a total of 22. 

Lane County reported their 36th case earlier Saturday, an employee at a local senior home.
