OHA reports 169 new COVID-19 cases

OHA also reported four new deaths.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Oregon Health Authority reported 169 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday.

This brings the state total to 28,355.

The new cases include: Benton (1), Clackamas (17), Crook (1), Deschutes (1), Jackson (17), Jefferson (2), Lane (7), Malheur (4), Marion (25), Morrow (4), Multnomah (39), Polk (4), Umatilla (10), Wasco (1), Washington (25), and Yamhill (11).

OHA also reported four new deaths. In Marion County, a 90-year-old woman, 100-year-old woman, and 72-year-old woman died this month. The first two had underlying conditions, but the presence of underlying conditions is being confirmed in the death of the 72-year-old.

Also, state officials added a Lane County death that local officials have already reported – an 86-year-old man who died Sept. 6 at his home. OHA said he had underlying conditions.
