OHA reports 45 new confirmed cases

Two more have died.

SALEM, Ore. – There are 45 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state, Oregon Health Authority announced Friday.

With three new presumptive cases, the state total is now 3,864.

The new cases include five in Clackamas, two in Clatsop, one in Curry, three in Jackson, two in Linn, four in Malheur, eight in Marion, 11 in Multnomah, one in Polk, one in Umatilla and 10 in Washington.

Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties are the only ones that remain under the full stay-at-home order. All others are now in phase one of reopening.

With two more deaths, the death toll is now 147. A 53-year-old Marion County man died May 20 at Salem Hospital and an 83-year-old Multnomah County man died May 8 at his home. OHA said both had underlying health conditions.
