SALEM, Ore. – There are 61 new cases of coronavirus in the state, Oregon Health Authority said Wednesday.
The state total is now 2,446.
Among the new cases are one in Clackamas, one in Hood River, four in Jefferson, one in Linn, 18 in Marion, 19 in Multnomah, one in Polk, eight in Umatilla, seven in Washington and one in Yamhill.
Two more people have also died, bringing the death toll to 101.
A 75-year-old Multnomah County man tested positive April 20 and died April 22 at his residence.
The other death was a 71-year-old Multnomah County woman tested positive April 11 and died April 20 at Adventist Hospital.
OHA said both had underlying health conditions.
