OHA reports 64 new coronavirus cases, 2 more deaths

There are new cases in Benton, Linn and Coos counties.

SALEM, Ore. – There are 64 new cases of coronavirus in the state, Oregon Health Authority said Thursday.

The new cases bring the state total to 2,510.

Among the new cases are one in Benton, eight in Clackamas, five in Coos, one in Deschutes, one in Klamath, four in Linn, one in Malheur, 17 in Marion, 11 in Multnomah, five in Umatilla and 10 in Washington.

At this time, it’s not known where Coos, Linn and Benton counties' cases are located.

In Multnomah County, a 69-year-old man tested positive April 7 and died April 26 at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. And in Marion County, a 77-year-old man tested positive April 25 and died the same day at his home. OHA said they both had underlying health conditions.
