OHA reports 76 new coronavirus cases, outbreak at Amazon Aumsville

SALEM, Ore. – There are 76 new confirmed and presumptive cases of coronavirus in the state, Oregon Health Authority said Thursday.

This brings the state total to 4,474.

Among the new cases are nine in Clackamas, one in Coos, one in Crook, five in Deschutes, one in Jackson, one in Jefferson, three in Lane, five in Lincoln, two in Linn, 12 in Marion, 30 in Multnomah, one in Umatilla, one in Wasco, three in Washington and one in Yamhill.

A case reported in Polk County has been determined to not be a case.

An outbreak of five cases has been reported at Amazon Aumsville. The investigation started on May 21. Officials are working to address the outbreak and said the risk to the general public is considered to be low.

OHA said no new deaths have been reported, keeping the death toll steady at 159.
