LANE COUNTY, Ore. – State regulators are asking for an investigation into two bars and restaurants in Lane County as part of a statewide effort to make sure businesses are enforcing social distancing and mask usage.
The two businesses in question are Brick House Gentlemen's Club in Springfield and Bohemian Tavern in Cottage Grove.

Inspectors with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission visited 800 bars and restaurants in Oregon last weekend, and the majority were following the rules, officials said.
But nine bars and restaurants were not, according to the OLCC.
At Brick House, the OLCC alleges there were too many people and not enough social distancing. They said dancers were too close to customers and were not wearing masks, and neither were other staff and customers.
At Bohemian Tavern, the OLCC found little social distancing, customers at the bar area which is not allowed, and no plexiglass at the bar and no mention of staff using masks.
Still, the OLCC said the nine businesses in the state found to be skirting the rules were the exception, not the rule.
“Businesses are doing a really good job, I think. All the stores we’ve seen in Springfield, it’s been signs saying wear masks and hand sanitizer has been available almost everywhere,” said Scott Sabel, who visited downtown Springfield Saturday.
The OLCC said just one percent of the businesses their inspectors visited had problems. Those concerns have been forwarded to Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration, who can choose to open an investigation.
