OSU downs DePaul, advances to WNIT final

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- No. 7 Oregon State had no trouble with No. 18 DePaul in the semifinals of the WNIT, 98-77.

OSU freshman Taylor Jones tallied a team-high 24 points and nine rebounds in the victory.

Jones was one of five Beavers who scored in double figures. 

OSU senior Kat Tudor also saw her first game action since tearing her ACL last season. She missed the final 21 games of the 2018-19 campaign and the first two games of this year. Tudor went 0-3 from the floor. 

The Beavers shot 55.7 percent as a team and outrebounded DePaul, 56-34. 

Oregon State's big push came in the second quarter when it outscored the Blue Demons, 25-12.

With the win OSU improves to 3-0 and advances to the WNIT final against Missouri State.

Tip off is scheduled for Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Gill Coliseum.
