CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Oregon State University will be holding four listening sessions this week to get a better idea on how to shape the future of public safety needs and services.
Public safety on campus is due for a transition as the end of the Oregon State Police contract approaches.
The four community listening and input sessions will be held on the following dates and times:
• March 9 in the Memorial Union Horizon Room from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• March 10 in the Memorial Union Horizon Room from 10 a.m. to noon
• March 10 in the main meeting room of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• March 11 in the Memorial Union Horizon Room from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
OSU Public Safety Advisory Committee, which represents the campus community and includes students, faculty and staff, will evaluate long-term public safety needs and services beginning July 1, 2022.
