EUGENE, Ore. – On May 8, teachers that taught the Oak Hill School graduating class of 2020 took off caravan style to deliver congratulatory yard signs and a sweet gift to the students.

School officials said they followed social distancing protocols as they traveled more than 100 miles all over Lane County to congratulate the 13 students that make up the graduating class.

“It was by far the most excitement we’ve had in weeks. She was so happy,” said Nathalie Fortin, parent of 2020 graduate Gaby.

Teachers said it was one final opportunity to say, "We’ll miss you, we love you, and job well done."
