Oakland man dies in fire

The manufactured mobile home was a complete loss.

OAKLAND, Ore. – A man died in a house fire in Oakland Wednesday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded to the 800 block of South Cabin Creek Road at about 9:15 a.m. The home had burned sometime during the night, they said.

North Douglas Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene, as well.

The manufactured mobile home was a complete loss.

Human remains were found believed to belong to Allan Lundeen, 61, of Oakland.

The fire is not considered suspicious at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
