EUGENE, Ore. -- An outbuilding used as office space at a Eugene residence is a complete loss after a fire early Tuesday morning.
Lane Fire Authority and Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a structure fire in the 28000 block of Siesta Lane around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Gas and oil tanks on the property might have contributed to the fire, according to Lane Fire Authority.
After crews arrived on scene, a couple of trees near the building also caught on fire.
The building was estinguished around 4 a.m. according to Lane Fire Authority. A two-person crew stayed on site until daylight to look for any fire hotspots.
No one was in the building when the fire started and there were no reported injuries, according to officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
