BLUE RIVER, Ore. -- Lane County's top administrator says wildfires have caused "catastrophic loss" in this small town.

Steve Mokrohisky, county administrator, said residents should "expect a loss of life" from the Holiday Farm fire.

He also said a firefighter told him that between 80 and 100 buildings were destroyed.

KEZI is unable to confirm that number independently.

This is a developing story.
