Oregon COVID-19 cases drop to record low of 2021

Today's was the lowest daily total since October 2020.

PORTLAND, Ore. – With 305 new confirmed and presumptive cases on Monday, Oregon has seen a record low daily case count for 2021.

It’s the lowest total since Oct. 19, 2020, when the state recorded 266 cases.

There have been 147,419 cases since the start of the pandemic.

Today’s new cases include: Baker (2), Benton (5), Clackamas (27), Columbia (3), Coos (15), Crook (1), Curry (1), Deschutes (5), Douglas (11), Jackson (8), Jefferson (1), Josephine (10), Lane (30), Lincoln (2), Linn (5), Marion (27), Multnomah (66), Polk (7), Tillamook (2), Umatilla (5), Union (1), Wallowa (1), Wasco (2), Washington (51) and Yamhill (17).

OHA also added one more death, raising the toll to 2,024.

The state has administered 572,400 first and second doses of the vaccine out of a total 734,950 doses that have been delivered across Oregon.
