Oregon Health Authority to give updates on coronavirus monitoring

The agency said Monday there are no cases that they know of in Oregon but they are still investigating.

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Health Authority announced Monday they will begin posting about COVID-19 cases being monitored.

OHA said that starting on March 3 they will post weekly updates on their website of cases that are being monitored and investigated.

Lillian Shirley, the director of the OHA Public Health Division, said there are still no cases of COVID-19 in Oregon and because of that, the risk to the public remains low.

Oregon is joining California and Washington in giving the public updates on cases.
