Oregon Women's Basketball team honored by city of Eugene

The team advanced to the program's first-ever Final Four appearance, leading the city to honor them with a certificate of appreciation.

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Oregon Women's Basketball team was honored for their great season by the Eugene City Council on Monday night.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mayor Lucy Vinis called members of the team to the front of Harris Hall to watch a video summarizing the team's great season.

After the video, Mayor Vinis gave the team a certificate of appreciation for making it to the program's first-ever Final Four appearance, their successful season, and their contributions to the Eugene community.
