Oregon athletics announce event modifications amid coronavirus situation

Oregon athletic events are being restricted to essential staff, families, working personnel credentialed media and recruits effective March 15, 2020.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon Athletics will activate attendance protocols for all home sporting events due to ongoing coronavirus situation. 

The events will go on as scheduled and will be restricted to competing student-athletes, coaches and staff, essential work personnel, families of the athletes and coaches, credentialed media and recruits.

This will take into effect on Sunday, March 15, 2020, until further notice.

In addition, Oregon softball's exhibition against Team USA has been postponed.

The game was scheduled for Wednesday, March 18.
