EUGENE, Ore. – Police are investigating after a 61-year-old woman was seriously injured in a crash on Tuesday.
Officers responded to the collision after 9:45 p.m. at East 18th Avenue and Pearl Street.
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver, a 21-year-old man, stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Impairment and speed are not believed to be factors.
The crash remains under investigation.
After several hours of being closed, the roadways reopened by just after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.
