EUGENE, Ore. – A friendly dog named Andray paid a visit KEZI 9 News on Tuesday as Pet of the Week, and a few hours later he had found a new home.

This 2-year-old dog mixed-breed dog weighed 88 pounds and had transferred to Eugene from Josephine County in his quest for a new home.  He relaxed quickly during his visit to the station and was a hit with staff members.

Andre’s adoption fee was $175, and although he is no longer available at Greenhill Humane Society, there are plenty of other animals at the shelter awaiting an opportunity to join a family. The adoption fee for the shelter's animals includes the cost of vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more.

Every Tuesday, Greenhill Humane Society showcases homeless pets on KEZI 9 News Midday at 11 a.m.

If you are interested in any of the animals at Greenhill Humane Society, call 541-689-1503 or click here.

To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to Greenhill in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff. All family members should be present to ensure the dog is compatible with everyone in the household.
