EUGENE, Ore. – Spot is an American pit bull terrier mix who has become a favorite with Greenhill Humane Society volunteers during the 20 days he has spent there.
Spot came into the shelter as a stray and is believed to be 7 years old. He is cute, playful and loves his stuffed toys. He especially enjoys bringing the toys to his favorite people so they can watch him play with them. He likes to cuddle, give kisses and play. Volunteers especially like how excited he gets when he sees people he knows.
Spot will need to be the only pet in the household and must go to an adult-only home. He is reactive around other dogs, so will need an experienced dog owner.
Spot’s fee is $175, which includes the cost of vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more.
Spot visited KEZI 9 News as Pet of the Week. Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases homeless pets on the Midday newscast at 11 a.m. If you are interested in Spot or other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, click here.

To ensure a good match is made, potential adopters must go to the animal shelter in person to meet with the animal and kennel staff. All family members should be present to ensure the animal is compatible with everyone in the household.
