DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore.--- Douglas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing Roseburg man identified as 69-year-old Harry Burleigh.

Burleigh was reported missing around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, May 7. Police say Burleigh was due to return home on May 6 from a camping trip in the Toketee area, but failed to do so.

Officials said they located Burleigh's vehicle on May 8 at the lower trailhead to Forest Service trail 1500, which leads into Twin Lakes.

Burleigh was reportedly a fisherman and believed to have attempted to walk into the lakes to fish before heading back home.

Search efforts continue on Sunday. Police believe he is carrying a day pack and collapisble fishing pole.
