Police make 19th arrest in May riot

The 19th arrest is a 19-year-old man who was taken into custody on numerous charges.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Police have made 19 arrests in connection with the riot the May 29 overnight into the following day.

The most recent arrest is Carlos De Dios, 19, who was taken into custody after a traffic stop on Beltline and Barger Drive on Wednesday without incident.

Police said the man faces four counts of second-degree burglary, four counts of first-degree theft, five counts of riot and other charges.

Out of the 19 people arrested, court records show five have been sentenced.
