EUGENE, Ore. -- Lane County Jail officials say Jordan Mills Mallory will appear before a judge for the first time at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mallory is in custody after a search warrant was served near a Eugene elementary school on Monday.
Mallory has been arrested and charged with second-degree attempted assault, nine counts of felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful delivery of MDMA within 1,000 feet of a school, and unlawful possession of cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms and LSD.
Police said they served a search warrant at a home in the 3000 block of Harris Street near Camas Ridge Elementary School.
The warrant was served at about 7 a.m. Police said they wanted to secure the area prior to the school day.
Authorities said Mallory set his dog on officers, which led to the attempted assault charge. The dog was not injured. Police also said they found nine firearms, including one with a modified trigger, and narcotics.
Eugene Police SWAT and Crisis Negotiation Team were on scene.
