Police release list of suspects arrested in May riot

More arrests are expected, police said.

EUGENE, Ore. – Following months of investigation regarding the events of the May riot, 11 people have been arrested.

Eugene police said a peaceful protest for black lives on May 29 turned into a riot overnight into May 30 with several hundred people taking part in property damage, burglary, robbery, assault, arson and other violent crimes.

The riot centered on 7th Avenue and Washington Street, where several businesses faced extensive damage and theft.

Police said they have reviewed hundreds of hours of video surveillance and numerous posts on social media, and several people have been identified through videos and interviews.

Wednesday morning, officers began arresting suspects accused of crimes committed the night of the riot.

The following people were arrested and taken to the Lane County Jail:

  • Chantelle Amador, 23, of Springfield: riot (two counts), first-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, and first-degree harassment
  • James Blaylock, 23, of Eugene: riot, second-degree disorderly conduct (two counts), second-degree criminal mischief, and reckless burning
  • Jeremiah Corradini-Fisher, 23, of Eugene: riot, second-degree disorderly conduct, and interfering with police
  • Adrianya Delatorre, 18, of Eugene: riot (two counts), second-degree burglary (three counts), and first-degree theft (three counts).
  • Zane Evans-Gabriel, 27, of Eugene: riot (three counts), second-degree disorderly conduct (three counts), second-degree criminal mischief, reckless burning, second-degree burglary, and first-degree theft.
  • Isaiah Lindsey-Salinas, 23, of Eugene: second-degree burglary, first-degree theft, and riot
  • Bradley Mcelrath, 33, of Eugene: riot, menacing, second-degree disorderly conduct, and harassment
  • Tylor Parris, 27, of Eugene: second-degree burglary (two counts), first-degree theft (two counts), and riot
  • Kailee Williams, 19, of Eugene: riot and second-degree disorderly conduct

Two juveniles were also arrested.

Police said all arrests were made without incident and were recorded on body worn cameras and in some cases in car video systems. Stolen property was recovered during the arrests and has been returned to the rightful owners.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected, police said.
