Police search for man involved in stabbing

Eugene police are looking for a man who stabbed another man early Thursday morning in the 1100 block of West 7th Avenue.

EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene police are looking for a man who stabbed another man early Thursday morning in the 1100 block of West 7th Avenue.

The incident happened near Jacksons Market at 2:05 a.m. Police say the suspect confronted the victim and after a brief dispute, stabbed the victim and fled south on Van Buren Street.

The victim was taken to the hospital by medics and has serious injuries, police said.

Anyone who was in the area and saw what happened or anyone who has information about the location of the suspect is asked to call police at 541-682-5111.
