EUGENE, Ore. -- A young woman that was taken from a Target parking lot in broad daylight Monday has been found, police say.

Just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday police announced they have been in personal contact with Treasure Javen Marler-Liggins, 21, of Springfield, who had her vehicle carjacked with her inside. They said she is no longer being sought.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the situation. If you were a witness or have any relevant information, police urge you to contact detectives.

The kidnapping happened on W. 11th Avenue around 12:45 p.m.

Police said a Target employee saw Marler-Liggins leave the store and get in her car. A man then approached and smashed in the window of her car.

Reports indicate he drove off with Marler-Liggins in the passenger seat.

Two other cars appeared to be boxing in the woman’s vehicle, police said.

Police reached out to the public, seeking information about the suspect, the involved vehicles and about a woman who appeared to have been with the victim.

Marler-Liggins was described as a black woman in her mid-20s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black crop top, and gray sweatpants and gray shoes.

Police said the suspect is reportedly a Hispanic man. He was last seen wearing a black beanie with some red on it, a gray zip-up hoodie and dark blue or black jeans.

The woman who was possibly with the victim is said to be white with a thin build and was last seen wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.

She had a red beanie hat and was carrying a red Target bag.

There are four vehicles that are believed to have been involved, police said. The victim’s vehicle was a tan Nissan Maxima with Kansas license plate 908MJK.

Police are also looking for a black Audi sedan with Oregon license plate 285HJE, a tan SUV driven by a white man with a dark jacket and baseball cap (possibly a GMC Tahoe or older Ford Explorer), and a tan or gold Ford Focus four-door.

If you have any information, call 911 immediately. Do not approach the vehicles or involved suspects, police warned.
