Police seek suspects in armed robberies in Eugene

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects from two recent armed robberies in Eugene.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Police are asking for the public’s help to identify suspects from two recent armed robberies in Eugene.

Police said they responded to reports of a robbery at the Mobil gas station at 367 Highway 99 North at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. Reports said a suspect demanded money and fired multiple shots at an employee near the office.

They said the suspect left without cash. He is described as a white man in his mid-20s and about 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Then at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to an armed robbery at Jasper’s Deli, 1504 Coburg Road. They said the suspect pointed a gun at an employee, demanded money and left with cash.

Police said the suspect was a white man who's about 30 years old and about 6 feet 1 inches tall. He had a thin build and was wearing a dark scarf over his face.
