Oregon gym teacher arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing student

Police say a gym teacher has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a student.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Police say a gym teacher has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a student.

The Oregonian/OregonLive reports South Medford High School physical education teacher Noah Berman is accused of sexual abuse, luring a minor and tampering with a witness, according to Medford police.

Police say they got an anonymous report through the SafeOregon program last month about Berman and an investigation found he had a relationship that had turned sexual with a student. It wasn't immediately known if he has a lawyer.
