Positive cases confirmed at two Springfield Public Schools

Officials did not confirm if they were in students or staff.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Two cases of coronavirus have been confirmed at Centennial and Riverbend Elementary schools in Springfield. 

District officials say they were notified Tuesday by Lane County Public Health of one positive case at Riverbend and one at Centennial. 

They did not confirm if they were in students or staff. 

Those in close contact with the individuals will be asked to stay home.
