Power outages reported across Western Oregon

Crews are working to restore power to impacted areas.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Nearly a hundred people remain without power Sunday morning after strong winds and rain ripped through Western Oregon, knocking down trees and power lines Saturday night.

Electric companies said their crews are working to restore power to everyone.

Pacific Power said they are aware of scattered outages. At last check, they were reporting around 100 customers without power from Roseburg up to Albany. At the height of the storm Saturday night, Pacific Power reported nearly 1,200 customers without power.

EWEB said the outage impacted customers served from the Leaburg Substation. They said there were reports of multiple trees and branches down due to the wind storm. At last check, power has been restored to nearly all customers. 

The Springfield Utility Board also had a major outage in the Gateway area. They said it has been restored.
