Benton County property owners encouraged to report flood damage

The Benton County Sheriff's Office says they need to collect information to determine Federal assistance eligibility.

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- The Benton County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Division is encouraging property owners to report flood damages.

After the recent flooding event, the sheriff's office says they need to collect information, no matter how small or localized, to determine Federal assistance for which we may be eligible.

If you live in Benton County and experienced damages to your property caused by the recent flood event, the sheriff's office is asking you to fill out the online form here

Additionally, if you live in a flood plain or have National Flood Insurance Program coverage, please contact Toby Lewis, Benton County Flood Plain Manager, at 541-766-6819.
