EUGENE, Ore. -- Investigators are investigating the cause of an RV fire early Tuesday morning.

The fire happened just before 2:30 a.m. near a homeless camp near West 13th Avenue and Commerce Street.

Authorities say the fire started in the back of the vehicle and caused multiple propane tanks to explode. They say the propane tanks did not cause the fire.

Crews were able to get the fire under control and say no one was nearby when they arrived on the scene.
