EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon Parks Forever is teaming up with four Oregon craft beverage producers to raise funds that will be used to replant 25,000 trees after last year's wildfires.

Between July and August, profits from drinks sold by Stoller Wine Group, Pelican Brewing, Portland Cider Company, and Sunriver Brewing will go to support these efforts. Each dollar collected will cover the cost of planting one tree.

Oregon Parks Forever has set a goal of planting at least a million trees after last year's wildfires burned over 1 million acres. So far they've raised about $400,000.

The first trees will be planted in the fall of 2022. They'll be planted in high impact, and highly visible areas for transportation, tourism, and recreation.

If you don't drink, you can also donate directly to the organization.
