Robots delivering food around OSU campus

The robots are providing the ultimate form of no-contact delivery as the pandemic continues.

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Starting today students and staff at Oregon State University will start seeing little robots roaming around the campus delivering food.

The robots are providing the ultimate form of no-contact delivery as the pandemic continues.

They are small with six wheels and a rounded white body topped with a bright orange flag to make them more visible. They have mapped the Corvallis campus using GPS and are able to find locations around the grounds.

When a customer places an order using the delivery app, they can select a location to meet their delivery robot. The customer also receives a code in the app to unlock the robot when it arrives.
