Roseburg man arrested on charges of selling meth near school

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg man was arrested Monday on charges of selling drugs near a school and having two hidden guns.

The Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team said Eumetrious Zepeda, 22, was arrested Monday in Roseburg. 

Detectives said they identified Zepeda as a person of interest in an ongoing drug investigation. Detectives and deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office contacted Zepeda in his car in the 4600 block of Carnes Road near Green Elementary School

According to officials, a drug detection K-9 checked the outside of Zepeda's car and lead detectives to find drugs inside. Detectives said they searched Zepeda's car and found a quarter-pound of methamphetamine, as well as two concealed firearms.

Zepeda was arrested and lodged at the Douglas County Jail. He faces charges of unlawful possession of meth, unlawful delivery of meth, unlawful delivery of meth within 1,000 feet of a school and two counts of unlawful possession and concealment of firearms.
