ROSEBURG, OR. -- Roseburg teenager Kevin Adams made his latest court appearance on Tuesday.
In a 15 minute appearance, Judge Kathleen Johnson got a status check on the progress of the case from both parties.
Kevin Adams' attorneys made a statement that they will be challenging having him tried as an adult.
They will do this by filing a demurrer on the grounds of Adams’ constitutional rights being neglected.
Adams was arrested in November, after authorities said he shot and killed his foster mother and sister, as well as his biological sister.
His next appearance is set for May 10.
