Scandinavian Festival canceled due to COVID-19

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. -- The Scandinavian Festival is officially canceled this year due to coronavirus, organizers announced.

The event is held every year in August in Junction City. Recently, Gov. Kate Brown announced that all large gatherings through September would need to be canceled or greatly modified.

"We are brainstorming other ways to celebrate as a community, despite the distance," organizers said on their website.
