EUGENE, Ore. – After many weeks of uncertainty, the Eugene school board has voted to close Corridor Elementary after the 2019-2020 school year.
The 4J district is facing a large budget shortfall due to the pandemic, which put Corridor Elementary’s future at risk.
The board voted against keeping Corridor open in their meeting Wednesday night.
Corridor Elementary has around 200 students and has an emphasis on small class sizes and the performing arts.
Families rallied to save the school they love.
