LANE COUNTY, Ore. – Lane County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue crews are on scene at a property near the intersection of Meadowview Road and Prairie Road outside Eugene.
Search crews were seen combing across the ground, at times using shovels and a small backhoe to move dirt. It’s unclear what the search crews are hoping to unearth.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said the response is not part of a rescue effort, but rather a “follow up” on a sheriff’s office case.
A law enforcement drone could also be seen surveying the property.
