SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A family continues searching for their 15-year-old, Tyler Campbell, who went missing November 13th. The family told KEZI 9 News they think he ran away.

Campbell is a freshman at Pioneer Youth Group, a local charter school. His stepfather, Allen Frieze said Campbell had expressed he was not happy at school.

He said on Monday the family went to wake him up for school, but he was nowhere to be found.

Frieze said his mom checked the garage and his bike was gone. This leads them to think he ran away sometime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m..

"His mom is scared to death," Fierze said. "He's not a street kid, he is a kid that has lived at home, followed rules, and been a good kid and all of the sudden something has changed and we don't know what."

Frieze said they may be getting some clues as to where he could be. He said someone reached out saying they saw him at the bus station in Downtown Eugene Sunday morning. He said they saw him taking a bus headed to Thurston.

His stepfather said it is completely out of character for Tyler to run away and is asking the public to contact police if they think they have seen him.
